Our Coach - Doug Wilson

Doug, a proud native of "The Home of Golf," was introduced to the game by his father at The Paris Golf Club in Paris, Ontario. His passion for golf blossomed when as a young teen his family returned to Scotland near St.Andrews, leading him to become the youngest Head Pro in Scotland at age 21 at Douglas Park Golf Club on the outskirts of Glasgow. He developed a reputation for his excellent teaching and playing skills and was later invited to the Middle East to share his expertise at the Awali Golf Club in Bahrain. From his experience competing in the Canadian Open, Doug realised that technique alone is not the road to success and has dedicated himself to understanding all aspects of the game in order to help his students achieve their golfing goals.

Golf Coaching takes place at the Practice Facility of Muskoka Highlands Golf Links on South Monck Drive in Bracebridge. The Practice Facility is situated on the west side of South Monck across from the club's entrance.
Parking is located on clubhouse side of the road.​

Coach sessions are arranged by appointment and available Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays from early May until late September​
